Best D@#! product I've purchased in a long time, period.

I work at a dealership where we may see 70 cars a day (varies by economy and weather). And I must say this has been the wisest choice I've made in a while. Power is a 9.0, battery life (in comparison to other models) is a 10.0.
(The reason I didn't give the Power a 10 is because I know the more expensive model does pack a heathier punch.)
Battery really does take only 15 mins to fully charge unlike 1 to 2.5 hours for some other models, that die faster as well.
Light and ergonomic, it just fits your hand. Even has a glow in the dark ring around the tip. "Comes in handy when your under a dash or car and it's dark and you might find yourself searching." This definitely would, and should be a top pick if not your only pick below the high end Makita models.

Good Combo

This set is great. I do some woodworking and weekend warrior stuff around the house and it does everything that I want. The battery life is not as long as i thought it would be but I never have to wait for a battery becasue they charge so quickly (15 min.). I used the impact driver for some framing jobs and it works beautifully. Plenty of power and no fatigue in the wrist or arm.

Bad chuck

Bought this in July 2009.
The chuck went bad in January 2010
Something in the mechanism caused one of the teeth to dislodge
I have sent it back under warranty for repair

Say hello to my little friend!

This little guy has plenty of torque, yet very light weight and compact. It is so much lighter than my 18v NiMH one. The Lithium battery has plenty of juice for a very short charge time. It feels good in my hand. It can reach many tiny places where other drill cannot access, and it also reduce the fatigue when doing ceiling works. The integrated LED light does not shine the place you want to drill, but it does provide some luminance. For under $300 this package is the best buy I ever had.
